Joshua 1

Joshua 1, Joshua, Bible verse, Closer 2 Jesus, God Bless,

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun

2 Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them the Israelite's

3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses

4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates, all the Hittite country to the Mediterranean Sea in the west

5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you

6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them

7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you, do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go

8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go

10 So Joshua ordered the officers of the people

11 Go through the camp and tell the people, Get your provisions ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own

12 But to the Reubenite's, the Gadite's and the half tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said, 13 Remember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you after he said, The Lord your God will give you rest by giving you this land

14 Your wives, your children and your livestock may stay in the land that Moses gave you east of the Jordan, but all your fighting men, ready for battle, must cross over ahead of your fellow Israelite's. You are to help them

15 until the Lord gives them rest, as he has done for you, and until they too have taken possession of the land the Lord your God is giving them. After that, you may go back and occupy your own land, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you east of the Jordan toward the sunrise

16 Then they answered Joshua, Whatever you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go

17 Just as we fully obeyed Moses, so we will obey you. Only may the Lord your God be with you as he was with Moses

18 Whoever rebels against your word and does not obey it, whatever you may command them, will be put to death. Only be strong and courageous

Psalm 27 7-14

Psalm 27 7-14 KJV

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice. have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When thou said, Seek ye my face, my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

9 Hide not thy face far from me, put not thy servant away in anger. thou hast been my help, leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies. for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

Here Daniel writes of a request concerning himself to the Lord God. Daniel asks God to not forget or  leave him. To continue to guide Daniels ways and teach him God's way.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord. be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. wait, I say, on the Lord.

Also in Isaiah 40:31 does the Holy Bible speak of waiting on the Lord.

Psalm 27 1-6

NIV 27:3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear, though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

KJV 1 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.

5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion. in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me, he shall set me up upon a rock.

6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me. therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy, I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

Do Not Fear ... If the Lord God be for me, who can stand against me ... Give the fear to God. Keep the Praise to God during trials when it seems all are against you. He will turn it to good for you.

Closer 2 Jesus Build Your House On The Rock Luke 6

Luke 6, Build house on the rock, Jesus is the rock, Closer 2 Jesus, God bless,

If you have a solid foundation, and protection like a Rock, and a storm comes, no worries.

Well, Jesus is the Rock! He is the foundation that strengthens us, keeping us ready when the "Storms" come (challenges in life).

Luke 6:47 "Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:

Luke 6:48 "He is like a man which built an house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it for it was founded upon a rock."

Luke 6:49 "But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great."

Happy New Year Luke 7

Holy Bible New International Version (All Bible verses below)

2 Corinthians 4:16-17

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Happy New Year, Luke 7, Holy Bible, Bible verse, FECSF, Forgiveness,

Luke 7:47

47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.

Matthew 18:21-22

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?

22 Jesus answered, I tell you, not seven times, but seventy seven times (King James version says seventy times seven)

Luke 7 36-47

36 When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table

37 A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume

38 As she stood behind him at his feet weeping she began to wet his feet with her tears, Then she wiped them with her hair kissed them and poured perfume on them

39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this he said, If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is that she is a sinner

40 Jesus answered him, Simon, I have something to tell you, Tell me, teacher he said

41 Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarius, and the other fifty

42 Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?

43 Simon replied, I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven, You have judged correctly Jesus said

44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I came into your house you did not give me any water for my feet but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair

45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet

46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet

47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little

48 Then Jesus said to her Your sins are forgiven

49 The other guests began to say among themselves, Who is this who even forgives sins

50 Jesus said to the woman Your faith has saved you go in peace
